We pack a lot of experiences and information into our workshops, and Tui’s is no different. But we also plan for the unexpected opportunity as well and set a pace that allows you immersion into the country and the culture.
Here’s some details about the workshop.
First, we have dedicated professional drivers who know and love the area. They chauffeur us around in clean, comfortable and airconditioned vans. If you need a hand getting into or out of the door, they will be there to help.
Because we will be moving from place to place over the course of the 10 days, you will need to be able to get around. By this I mean, walk, and perhaps carry your own luggage into the hotel. We are casual here and recommend that you travel with very comfortable walking shoes and the least amount of luggage that you can. Stiletto shoes are truly fashionable, and no doubt you will see them in Rome, but they are NOT practical. Leave them home and save yourself the embarrassment of being forever immortalized on social media when you “face plant” on Italian cobblestones.
Second, we speak Italian, so you don’t have to. But if you want to stretch your linguistic wings, we will support and welcome that.
During this workshop, most things are provided for you, but some are not. (See bulleted lists below)
NOTE: Because these are cost-sharing trips, we require that you purchase travel insurance for the Full Value of your adventure, not just the airfare portion. We cannot offer refunds beyond our stated refund policy (see website Refund page). Once you decide to join us, we are excited to have you and are counting on your participation. This is how we can continue to offer the most value at the lowest price.
You will receive an information packet upon your registration that gives you all the various particulars regarding arrival and departure requirements, transport pick up and drop info as well as useful information to make your trip memorable and easy.
So having said all that, here are the things included in your Cemetery adventure with Tui:
Not included in the adventure are the following:
Once you have registered and received your welcome packet, you will be asked to fill out 2 required forms: one a general info form about yourself that will help me make your trip a pleasant one (things like dietary requirements, food allergies, emergency contact, etc.) and a release form. It’s all straight forward and simple.
I look forward to meeting and personally welcoming you to one of the most incredible parts of Italy. Thanks for considering this adventure with Tui and I. Register here.
