Get ready for an unforgettable experience in France! This 10-night, all-inclusive holiday begins when you touch down at the Toulouse Blagnac International Airport June 1, 2017. After collecting your bags, you will be met outside the luggage carousel area by myself (Lisa) and our hostess, Dominique.

We will travel as a group to Larnagol, your home-away-from-home for the next 10 days. Once there, we will have some light refreshment, settle into the rooms, get comfortable and later, have a light dinner before retiring. With the fresh country air, plan on getting a great night’s sleep!

The next morning the real fun begins.

Melissa will demo and introduce you to solvent-free painting with Walnut Oil medium, just like Leonardo DaVinci used. We will visit the tiny villages of Larnagol, Calvignac and Cajarc, to give you your first taste of the charm of this region, considered to be one of the most beautiful in France.

There will be daily art instruction, covering a different topic each day, including under painting and glazing, skies and water, perspective, vertical and horizontal planes, reflected light in shadows. Each learning module will take place at a location specifically chosen to illuminate that day’s lesson.

We’ll spice up the holiday with various day trips to unforgettable sites, such as the Pech Merle caves, where one can see 29,000 year old cave paintings by the first men (or WOMEN!) or to the 900+ year – old viilage of Belcastel, with its restored castle, moat and pair of resident owls.

Of course no trip to France would be complete without a visit or two to the open markets with their cheeses, sausages and baked goods. And we cannot forget the truffles!

Included in your trip are:

• 10 nights accommodations (based on double occupancy)
